Make your way back to the mainland as the fighting starts, using a zip-line of your own creation. You'll get fire arrows during this which you can use to light the beacon. Create a zip-line to get across and make your way you. Once in the ruins, walk towards a broken bridge that leads to a signal tower.
There are many ways to get there, so choose whichever you prefer, even if you just want to jump of the cliff and tuck and roll. Make your way to the very far side of the valley, using your Survival Instincts if needed to find you way. For help, be sure to consult: Geothermal Valley Challenges, Tombs, and Collectibles. I'm sure there are other places to practice, I just chose this one after trying the dive challenges in that area one too many times.Along with Soviet Installation, this is one of the game's biggest hubs for side quests, challenges, and collectibles. The rock that that tree sits on can be used for practice and it's near 2 of the dive challenges. It is located just below the southern cave there's a tree below a short ledge (you use it can climb up after you've climbed out of the water at the base of the large signal tower). I used the rock outcropping that was in the southernmost area of the GEOTHERMAL VALLEY. What helps is if you can find a rock that you can use to climb up and out of the water. Just find a place where the water is DEEP enough - you only need a rock a few feet out of the water to practice diving. Master the dive from a low spot, THEN complete the challenge. You can PRACTICE this dive method from a LOWER height - I found this very helpful (and much less frustrating) than reattempting the dives from there high spots. I found that this consistently worked (not promising this will be prefect or glitch free, but I had luck with this method).Ĥ. This is not so.) As you tap/engage the LT button AT THE SAME TIME slam/shove/force the 元 button forward - not just a gentle motion like you would use while walking or running - really lurch the joystick forward. Rather, the directions say that LT is the last thing you need to do to engage the dive. Walk or run forward SMOOTHLY (veering to either side doesn't help)ģ.
